Elin Bjorsvik is a Norwegian-born artist and painter who lives and works in London, UK. She works predominantly in the medium of acrylic painting, but has also an interest in pencil drawing photography and printmaking.
Elin graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland and her paintings have been sold to private clients and collectors in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and USA.
My most recent paintings are based on three-dimensional geometrical and abstract forms and shapes which have been created by manipulating light, tone and shadow through several layers of paint to create an illusion of space and depth.
She draw her inspiration and influences from artists such as Mondrian, Vasarely, Anuszkiewicz, Riley, Miró, Johns, Magritte, Picasso and Dali
